Flea Market Impressions
Both pictures share some common thing. I first saw it at home while preparing them for the blog. Do you see it?
I love the reflection that happens on the cup on the left. Oh, and, of course, this tiny camera… a wonderful, but
broken piece of analog technology which now may only serve for decoration purpose in your bookshelf *sigh
It took me a minute, but I think I’ve spotted the thing both pictures share: a rice bin, isn’t it?
The other day, I as well was strolling a flea market and thought of you and your gorgeous flea market series. Unfortunately, I don’t seem to have an eye for that kind of photography, but I truly enjoy yours. You are right about the reflection on the cup – wonderful!
Dear Karin,
thank you so much for your comments – you are right, it’s the rice bin, or even more just the german word Reis
And for the eye for flea market photography: since I’m strolling around on such markets for many years now, I think I’ve developed some kind of eye for what is presented there and what is worth taking a picture of… and I usually have a chat with the people there and sometimes I’m lucky and may listen to the story of their merchandise and then, it is even more interesting to catch the scenery with a lens.
I still feel very flattered that you like this kind of pictures that much
