Café Elise – Wuppertal, Germany
Finally picked up my recently exposed black&white roll of film. This picture shows details of a wonderful and magical place – in reality everything in this café is pastel-coloured

I really like the picture’s softness, which, to me, emphasizes the impression of dreaming the scene. For me, the black and white version works very well, although – with you mentioning pastels – I cannot help wondering what the place looks like in reality…
Thank you for your nice words! During sitting there enjoying coffee and tea, for a second I was sad not to have a color film in my camera… but now I really like all the black and whites that came out on that day.
